Charis Martin is a singer/songwriter originally from Silver Spring, MD. She gravitates towards R&B and Soul with heavy influence from artists such as Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, The Weeknd, etc. She blends these strong influences into a modern sound with her sultry voice and sassy lyrics. She seamlessly intertwines singing with rapping, which you can hear on her upcoming single “Scarlet.” She recently performed at the Los Angeles Fashion and Music Conference hosted by MTV.
